My husband told me when we first got married that Huskies paraphernalia was ALWAYS a safe bet for holidays. When I saw this I couldn't resist it, and after almost 2 years it's still holding up. He draped it over the back of the futon chair he uses at his computer and, though there's been a little ravelling, it's held up remarkably well against everything from Coke spills to cat claws. When it finally dies, I'll probably buy him another one.
